Yesterday was the New Mexico Music Awards, where I had the honor of being nominated for one of the songs on my album. While I did not win, it was a privilege to spend time with some of the greatest musicians and producers in the industry and to see several friends take home awards.
I often say that getting into the room is 95% of the battle, and yesterday, I made it into that room. This opportunity allowed me to connect with many new friends, and I am hopeful for future collaborations. It was a truly enjoyable evening, and I look forward to many more experiences like this.
I take great pride in how far I have come on my musical journey in such a short time, and I am excited to continue this ride.
