First, the big news. We're slated to keep playing at Anthony's Soul Cafe the first two Thursdays in October. We've found a home at Anthony's — not only do we genuinely enjoy playing there, but the food is that good. We'll keep adding new songs to our sets and tightening up the ones we're already playing.
Last night, the first of this week's storms rolled in about halfway through our sets. Nothing dramatic — no big winds, just a steady rain. I'm sure it "dampened" the crowd a bit. But the folks who came out seemed to have a great time. We were pretty much on, too — the band just keeps getting tighter.
