A year ago none of this was on the radar. I had not even considered recording an album, much less thought about awards. But with encouragement and help from many people including George Mahn III and Ron Whitmore songs got recorded and then mixed and mastered. By the end of December there was an actual album. Submissions were made and the title song - Here in Santa Fe got nominated for the best New Mexico Song of the year. This Sunday we will see how it does.
This is just more proof and hard work and a little help from your friends can make great things happen.
